In the fourth quarter of 2024, the sandbox gaming category on the Android platform in Ghana showcased varied performance across different titles. Here’s a closer look at the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Roblox saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $936 in the final week of December. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at about 4.1K in mid-December. The game maintained a strong active user base, growing from around 31.8K at the start of the quarter to 38.5K by mid-December.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! experienced a consistent revenue stream, with a peak of $128 in the last two weeks of December. However, there were no recorded downloads for the entire quarter.

Blockman Go showed a varied revenue trend, peaking at $110 in late November. The game’s weekly downloads increased steadily, reaching 242 by the end of December. Active users also grew, starting at 372 and climbing to 642 by the quarter's end.

Addons for Melon had a modest revenue performance, with a peak of $11 at the start of the quarter. Downloads saw a notable rise mid-quarter, reaching 209 in late November. Active users fluctuated but ended the year at 464.

Finally, Terraria had a minimal revenue presence, peaking at $10 in early December. There were no downloads recorded during this period.
